July 2, 2009 - Clubhouse restroom renovations will begin on Monday, July 13.  The two week project will significantly improve VSICC clubhouse facilities.  For alternative accommodations during the two week construction period, see The Islander or posted notices in the clubhouse.

June 4, 2009 - Chris Doring has accepted appointment to the VSICC Board of Directors, filling the remaining three-year term vacated by Bruce Dee. 

May 18, 2009 - Van Schaick Island Country Club members overwhelmingly approved the sale of 3.38 acres of land north of the 5th green following a formal presentation by VSICC President Ed Goodwill and Cohoes Mayor John McDonald.  Look for a complete report in next month's Islander.
 
March 24, 2009 - Guest greens fees for the 2009 season have been set at $35.00 for 18 holes. Nine holes rounds will be charged $17.50.
 
January 12, 2009 - The VSICC Board of Directors have approved a 20% off membership special for all new membership levels for 2009.
